8/12 ~ January's Urban Longings

So January I traveled back and forth between Gowanus, Williamsburg and DUMBO - getting lost within the lens of my camera. I didn't realize until now that I was creating a document of a city in flux. The urban grunge of the streets create a focal point for my eyes that translate into colors, shapes, textures, and feelings of longing. How long will the city have these little gems of non homogeneous urban landscapes before the mall like, glass cities of the future take over.

 As the weather changes in November, fog and blur prompt dreams of deep reds, oranges and yellows, faint hues of pink and purple and always, always dreaming of jellyfish in the blues of Brooklyn.
